An exciting career opportunity has arisen in our subsidiary Crown Marble and now seek to recruit a strategic, committed & results driven person.
Vacant Position: CMQ Factory Manager
Reporting To: General Manager
Job Responsibility:
- Responsible for the efficient coordination and output of production, quality control, maintenance of stone work done at the factory
- Material reconciliation, check and off-loading of the imported stones in an efficient manner
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize factory productivity and standards
- Liaise closely with all departments (installation, dispatch, sales, operations) to ensure collaboration between them and make sure final output is correct.
- Material dispatch reports and delivery coordination with drivers, off loaders etc
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Making weekly and on-going inventory. Categorizing stocks as non-moving, slow moving for offers and schemes.
- Plan production activities, production meetings, machine maintaining schedules, worker schedules and budget maintenance schedules and quality of products
- Communicate with overseas suppliers if required to ensure that all import orders are on track and on time. Coordinate with the clearing agent, transport coordinator to make sure container material stocking and offloading is planned.
- Plan, schedule, and review workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis
- Communicate any changes in the order or delivery date to relevant parties. Also, follow up on interruptions to the order
- Provide guidance to employees & ensure induction and training of new employees
- Track and measure staff performance and output
Successful Applicant:
- Experience in Manufacturing, preferably in Natural Stone Industry.
- Experience in Plant Management
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). Knowledge of quick books is an advantage.
- High attention to detail and precision are required
- Ability to multi-task and focus under pressure.
